Ceiling and wall elements

Building owners and architects are aware of the advantages of Styrian larch wood when they opt for face-quality roof structures.

Glued laminated timber made of larch

Cosiness, durability, a distinct red colouring and the striped structure characterise the timber of our indigenous larch. Larch trees growing in dense populations lose their lower branches as they grow and so have straight, knotless trunks.

Elements made of Glulam

Glued laminated timber elements can be used for all applications such as roofs, ceilings and walls and offer many advantages of modern timber construction:

  • A solid construction material that fulfills all safety requirements (fire protection class up to F90-B)
  • Flexibility of application: solid timber construction, timber frame construction, timber skeleton construction
  • Healthy room climate thanks to the diffusion-open properties of timber
  • No vapour barrier necessary thanks to the natural air tightness of the elements
  • Natural timber protection thanks to low final moisture of maximum 12%
  • Attractive components – look and feel like pieces of furniture
  • Log cabin profile with tongue and groove, available with or without chamfer
  • Double groove for 120 and 140 mm
  • Log cabin triple groove from 160 to 200 mm
  • Log cabin single groove from 60 to 100 mm
